Norgestaxi AS

Norgestaxi is a taxi company, operating in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger.  The company is owned by the Swedish company, Taxi Kurir which is based in Stockholm, and is thus part of a total taxi fleet of 2600 cars operating in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

In Norway the fleet consists of 700 cars, operated by separate limited daughter companies in the four cities.  The biggest operation is in Oslo, where Norgestaxi Oslo AS operates 400 cars.

Norgestaxi takes part in the HyNor project (which goal is to make hydrogen available for cars all along the road going from Oslo to Stavanger), in order to support development of transportation based on hydrogen.  This is part of Norgestaxi’s environmental effort to seek the use of alternative fuels.
