Scatec is a technology think-tank and catalyst for new business ideas within the industries; renewable energy and advanced materials.  The company leverages in-house expertise to evaluate new technologies and growing markets and develops new businesses based on selected ideas. A core team establishes, runs, and gradually develops the business through the start-up face. A further development of the business is done outside the core. Carbon Cones AS’ role in HYCONES is to offer its industrial facilities, bench-scale equipment and know-how for the production of new carbon cones batches in WP1, as well as its characterization (WP3).
